Unique opportunity to join a Global Real Estate company as a Communications Assistant in London.

Client Details

Global leader in Real Estate headquartered in the City of London.


As the Communications Assistant you will be responsible for:

* Updating and maintaining the company intranet - writing and/or editing and posting daily stories and articles about deals, events and news throughout the region. Managing the publishing schedule and approving stories submitted for region-wide publication by EMEA country editors in 16 countries.
* Assisting in the creation and production of various internal communications including corporate and operational news and updates using a variety of channels including film and email.
* Managing the EMEA and UK internal communications dashboard, scheduling internal communications and tracking their progress through draft phase, approvals and delivery.
* Drafting press releases relating to new hires and deals, working with appropriate marketing and business stakeholders across the UK business.
* Assisting in the management and placing of forward features with market publications.
* Collating media coverage reports and highlights (provided daily and monthly by an independent media monitoring and evaluation agency) to support the PR team in sharing media hits with business stakeholders.
* Publishing UK press releases to the company's website.
* Working with the social media manager and PR team on social media posts relating to press releases and sharing company news.


The successful candidate will have:

* Proven experience of excellent writing capabilities.
* Proven experience of strong administrative skills including managing multiple projects/initiatives at any one time, prioritising and planning.
* Strong interest in communications and specific disciplines such as PR, social media etc.
* Understanding of social media and its role in communications.
* Experience of PR and media relations an advantage but not a pre-requisite.
* Previous experience of working in a corporate environment preferable.
* A 2:1 degree or above - ideally within a written based subject.
