Our client is a very successful, global business with an enviable brand portfolio and an aggressive growth strategy. They are looking for an Assistant Product Manager to support the development and introduction of new products to the global market.

Key Responsibilities:

* Constantly evaluate product sales, competitor activity and consumer needs to aid NPD decision making and product range selection.
* Supporting market research projects with external agencies.
* Assisting projects through the product development process ensuring time, cost and quality targets are met.
* Managing global requirements and working with Far East vendors.
* Working with the global NPD team including engineering and quality to ensure global products meet local market needs.
* Supporting all documentation for project feasibility and tracking including financial cost analysis and financial reporting spreadsheets.
* Liaising with the Global NPD team, represent local markets on cost improvement initiatives.
* Co-ordinate samples and products approvals to enable mass production to proceed.

Skills and experience;

* 1-2 years' experience in marketing (can include a placement year)
* Excellent project management skills
* Educated to a graduate level
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Experienced Microsoft Office user (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)

Speaking a European language and experience in global product marketing is desirable but not essential.
