Client Details

Our client is a market leading bathroom manufacturer.


Key responsibilities for Product Manager based in Taunton are:

* To identify the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing specification and requirements, appraising and adjusting as needed and preparing ROI analyses.

* To plan, implement and deliver to market new products and product lines on time and within cost controls

* Plan and develop new product launch plans including marketing specifications and internal departments product training requirements

* To use market research data to effectively establish product pricing plus continuous review of production and sales costs, forecasting and pricing of special and customized items.

* To establish time schedules with design, manufacturing and component partners

* To determine customer needs via high quality research

* To conduct quality external competitor analysis to accurately assess competition

* To work with Group Sales Director and Data Analyst to develop effective product sales strategies

* To report monthly to the Senior Management Team

* To ensure timely completion and storage of project documentation


The successful Product Manager will have:

* Experience and understanding of working with Merchants and Retail Showrooms.

* Ideally educated to degree level

* Proven track record in successfully launching new products to market

* 5 years solid experience in Product/Project Management within the manufacturing industry, preferably within the bathroom industry

* Familiarity with manufacturing processes (assembly, injection, SMC, GRP, RTM) advantageous

* Motivated self-starter capable of working within cross disciplinary teams

* Communication skills critical - proven capability in building strong professional relationships with colleagues and core partners

* Commercial intelligence - a clear understanding of the role of product in delivering profit/strategic impact.

* Exceptional organization and communication skills

* Ability to present information in a concise manner to reach quick consensus

* A preparedness to travel when needed - internationally on occasion.

Job Offer

The Product manager will receive:

£40 - £50k
