Supporting the Head of PR, the PR Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of PR plans, inputting into the PR strategies by identifying and sharing opportunities and generating new and engaging ideas to address consumer needs.

As the PR Manager, key responsibilites will include:

* Execute the day-to-day delivery of PR plans, supported by our PR agency, including but not limited to; influencer outreach, digital PR, press release writing, copy-writing and designing collateral, attending desk side appointments and press events, producing seasonal mailings and gifting solutions, creating social media content, implementing competitions.

* Form and maintain direct and beneficial relationships with editorial staff within key food and lifestyle magazines, online outlets, bloggers and other key influencers and paid for brand ambassadors to generate press coverage.

* Manage the media monitoring agency relationship; tracking, reporting and communication of all PR and influencer coverage and produce reports that position the figures in context with activity and provide suggestions on future areas of focus.

* Lead the development and execution of highly creative, engagement focused social media that deliver the requirements of the brand managers and PR plans, within agreed budgets and as a means of developing beneficial relationships with our consumers and manage the agreed budget for this activity.

* Support the PR team administratively to ensure plans are met on time and within agreed budgets.


PR Manager

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

* Professional qualification (CIM, CIPR etc.) an advantage
* Possess strong copy writing abilities and have exemplary attention to detail
* Experience of project management, including the development and execution of a calendar of activity involving all elements of the marketing mix
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to build rapport and engage with the consumer, client and strategic partners, conveying ideas and information effectively, in a manner appropriate to the audience
* A creative mind with experience in generating creative concepts individually or as part of a team
* Experience of managing/working with external agencies
* Willing to travel within the UK on a regular basis and to spend a significant amount of time working outside of office hours
