Space Planner | Permanent | London | £45,000/annum
This small but well known Design and Build company are forward thinking, creative and have pioneered the concept of shared workspace in Britain. They are known for not only their interiors but space planning to transform commercial offices into spacious environments. They work with clients to determine the ideal solution for not only now but the foreseeable future.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning and delivering workplace design and furniture solutions and services individually tailored to each client. You will be competent in producing space plans on Vectorworks or AutoCAD, as well as creating product documentation, spec plans and images.
You will also have proficient use of Photoshop and Sketch-up. You will be client focused and capable of liaising with people from project co-ordinators to suppliers.
As a space planner you will be responsible for keeping the clients existing portfolio space plans up to date and working closely with clients alterations team to support them in designing beautiful and operationally functional spaces, for prospective and existing clients.
The ideal candidate with have skill sets in:
- Architectural assistant/Interior design degree
- Vector Works
- Knowledge of M&E
- Good communications skills
- Passion & enthusiasm for design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- MS Office, in particular Word and Excel
- Highly Organised
- Strong time management
- German Language skills desirable
- Experience in design/space planning
- Office Interior experience
