A leading Children's Charity are looking for a Head of Marketing to join asap for a period of 3-6 months with a permanent opportunity to follow.


Client Details

For this role you will be working in an ambitious Communications Directorate delivering a new brand and high level projects and campaigns for their 150th anniversary year. You must be an inspirational, inclusive senior brand and marketing leader with a highly commercial approach. Crucially you must be adept at managing and creating high performing teams and be able to balance strategic thinking with the need to deliver.

To succeed, you will have exceptional team leadership skills and the proven ability to develop successful relationships with senior personnel and drive business forward.


Description

* Drive the implementation of the brand strategy to achieve the shift in awareness and engagement needed to achieve our divisional and organisational objectives





* Drive excellence in our marketing communications and campaigns





* Embed a culture of effective story-telling and creative and compelling content creation that communicates the charities cause and our case for support





* Lead the team to deliver integrated, multi-channel, national campaigns to increase awareness and understanding of the Charity





* Work closely with Director of Communications and other heads of function to deliver insight led, audience focused campaigns that deliver against our strategic objectives





* Set and monitor performance against KPIs, making changes to optimise impact and return on investment





* Lead the brand marketing and creative services team, managing, motivating and inspiring the team to high performance







Play an active part in the Communications directorate management team to promote collaboration, integrated working and high performance across the directorate and wider Fundraising, Communications and Policy division


Profile

* Demonstrable senior level experience in brand building and marketing communications





* Evidence of managing a range of effective integrated marketing teams and agencies to deliver significant results





* Highly collaborative, with an empathetic, pragmatic and supportive internal stakeholder engagement approach





* Leads, supports and motivates others to embrace change





* Experience of inspiring and guiding teams to achieve ambitious results





* Proven line management and team leadership experience and the ability to motivate, coach and develop others
