I’m proud to be working with a leading consumer brand, to support them in their hunt for a Senior Category Insight Manager. This role comes with exposure to board-level stakeholders, so it goes without saying that you’ll have a strong background within insight, and will be comfortable relaying information and key findings in an easy-to-digest format.

Day to day, you’ll lead a quant-focussed team to analyse various data sources and identify patterns/behaviours/key findings, reporting back to the wider team. You’ll have great communication and stakeholder management skills, and will act as an advocate for the value analytics can add to the organisation. You’ll not only be responsible for acting as the voice of the customer, but you’ll also be able to quantify which categories are/aren’t performing, making suggestions and recommendations as to how to change this. You’ll touch on everything from individual categories, to broader patterns, to pricing, so you must be comfortable using and summarising large data sets. Key sources of data will include Kantar, Nielsen, sales data, wider market data, loyalty scheme data etc.

This role presents a great opportunity to join an already established team and to help them lead from the front, by bringing a strong insight skillset which can add value to their existing customer proposition.
