As a Brand Manager you will have:

  • Knowledge of cross channel communications across major channel areas such as advertising, sales and media promotions, retail. online and POS to a sufficiently high level to be able to direct and evaluate the development of cross channel communications plans to meet set objectives
  • An understanding of the total media marketplace. Specifically, a high level of understanding of the TV, press, radio and outdoor media markets to be able to interpret media audit findings, econometric data and media buying briefs
  • Financial planning and analysis skills for use in the analysis of finances, sales trends etc. to provide accurate interpretation of macro trends for use in the development of strategy and corrective actions
  • Knowledge of commercial aspects of marketing programme management, demonstrated through consideration of financial implications of planned actions and accurate management of P&L
  • Track record in managing and implementing promotional activity with third parties
  • Knowledge and experience of agency supplier relationship management with sufficient knowledge and skill to be able to evaluate and define agency resource requirements and to lead and direct advertising agency and media agency account teams
  • Knowledge of communication evaluation processes and brand performance metrics to a sufficient level to be able to define brand and communication metrics for campaign activities and to analyse performance and tracking data in order to evaluate performance against objectives
