My client, a successful financial services business in Liverpool is recruiting a Marketing Executive to join their creative marketing team. Applicants must have traditional marketing experience within financial services, agency or professional services would be advantageous.

Working as part of a small marketing team, you will be delivering a section of the marketing plan to key target audience(s) whilst developing the total customer experience.
This includes delivering through many traditional and digital communication channels for both lead generation and retention campaigns. It will involve working on many marketing projects; such as producing collateral, and direct mail including, newsletters; as well as organising events, placing advertising and creating campaigns for client communications.
You will also be required to help with PR when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Producing creative ideas or concepts for all marketing campaigns and projects within brand guidelines
Ascertaining results to measure all campaigns
Liaising with all team members, suppliers and clients to ensure deadlines are met and projects are delivered
Ensuring the sign off process is adhered to and filing is complete
Ensuring newsletters are produced in a timely manner from inception through to production and delivery
Creating campaigns for client communications working with the sales team to deliver awareness and direct response campaigns including the production of email invitations (evites), webcasts for animations etc.
Producing collateral and printed materials from creative through to print and production
Extracting data for mailings
Producing direct mail campaigns utilising email marketing and traditional methods
Producing various reports on marketing activity using our CRM system and liaising with departments to ensure all information is correct
Updating web content on the content management system eg WordPress and managing the development of various websites
Preparing messages for social media
Organising events with key suppliers
Placing advertising
Ensuring all internal departments are briefed accurately
Providing key MI and writing a section of the marketing report

Skills Required:
Educated to degree level (marketing/Business studies) or CIM/DIM qualification
Must be working in a marketing role both offline and online within a commercial company
Experience of working in a marketing role within financial services or professional services (B2C) would be preferred
Experience of using mailchimp or CRM systems
Possess creativity and flair
Experience in marketing communications within the financial services sector - desirable
Ability to drive through marketing projects and campaigns, delivering results
Excellent organisation skills with the willingness and ability to multi-task
Knowledge of digital marketing - desirable
Demonstrable project management skills
Company Package:
Salary up to £26k
Hours 9-5pm
