A long running highly established central government organisation is looking for an energetic and ambitious B2B Marketing Executive to join their friendly and progressive organisation.

Your new role

You will be responsible for:


* Developing and implementing marketing strategy to increase attendance and use of the organisations services.
* Researching competitor and obtain market intelligence and an understanding of business trends, using this to ensure the organisation remains competitive in the market place and to identify potential business to target.
* Reviewing and managing marketing initiatives to ensure most effective use of funds and evaluate ROI for all marketing expenditure.
* As part of the marketing strategy, initiate and maintain links with stakeholders establishing strong relationships with key clients.
* Proactively seek and secure new and repeat business across all market segments.
* Promote the organisation through industry memberships, trade shows, showcases, social media and promotional material.
* Manage social media channels, ensuring output is appropriate to target audience.
* Identifying best practices to achieve continuous service improvement.
* Reviewing monthly function and analysis, including client feedback, highlighting issues and taking any necessary actions.
* Overseeing and managing the day to day relationship with the suppliers, identifying and rectifying any performance issues, leading on six monthly performance reviews and supporting the three-year full review.
* Deputise for the Private Events Manager and work with other teams in the Office and on other duties as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have:


* Significant experience in B2B marketing Proficient in the use of social media
* Good experience of proactively developing and managing relationships with clients
* Experience of developing marketing strategies and initiatives which increase business
* Experience of analysing financial and sales data in order to develop new business and improve the service
* Excellent presentation skills and high level of customer service skills
* Good degree or an equivalent level of skills, knowledge and experience
* Sound knowledge of marketing tools and techniques with the ability to apply these to the successful marketing high profile materials.
* Ability to develop and implement successful marketing plans for an events venue
* Strongly motivated to achieve and exceed targets
* Excellent oral communication skills in order to liaise effectively with and provide advice to clients, representatives from the City, external bodies and the public
* Excellent written skills in order to draft reports, briefings, marketing plans and detailed event documentation
* Ability to analyse sales and financial information and use this to inform marketing plans and initiatives
* Ability to work under pressure and balance competing demands High level of proficiency in IT systems particularly Microsoft Office
