The role of Head of Marketing - Asset Management, is for a leading global Financial Services brand. You will be based in central London and have extensive investments/AM marketing experience. You will also be fluent in either German, Spanish or Italian, with cross-border European marketing knowledge.

The client is a leading global Asset Management company, with a performance driven and risk aware team culture. The European Marketing team play a key role in supporting the wider business to grow market share and sales in their key geographies. The client has a main base in London.


Description

The role of Head of Marketing - Asset Management, will include the following responsibilities:
Act as the key Marketing contact for the key stakeholders in European regions
Ensure the marketing strategy is fully aligned with wider commercial goals and focused on key product areas for gaining market share
Liaise with wider Global marketing function, to ensure consistency of messaging and successful delivery
Work with local teams to ensure marketing campaigns for each region are optimally localised and have relevant propositions
Manage a team, with reports in multiple locations, and ensure their continued professional development
Monitor performance across the full mix of marketing channels and make recommendations based on analysis and testing
Keep marketing materials and messaging up to date with organisational and industry trends and guidelines


Profile

The successful candidate will possess the following:
Strong experience in a strategic level Marketing role within Asset or Investment Management
You must also be fluent in at least one of the following: German, Spanish or Italian (as well as English)
Possess excellent stakeholder influencing skills and an in depth understanding of the requirements for supporting Sales growth in key product areas
You must have a good understanding of the full marketing mix in this environment and know how to leverage research and market events for effective campaigns
You will be able to come up with innovative ideas and be proactive in putting these forward
Able to handle multiple tight deadlines and ensure high levels of attention to detail
You will be degree educated, with a CIM or relevant post-graduate certificate
