One of the world's most powerful consumer electronics brands is seeking a SENIOR UX DESIGNER to join their team in Greater London.

Due to their expansion in the digital sector, our client is looking for a passionate individual to lead the conception and delivery of UX mobile products as part of an agile working environment.

You must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 5-7 years experience leading UX work , ideally in a multi-national design consultancy
  • BA or MA in Interaction Design, Information Design, Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Information systems or related degree
  • Proficiency in relevant design software [e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch]
  • An understanding of how interaction design, graphics and technology merge to produce an integrated user experience
  • A proactive attitude towards problem solving
  • A collaborative work ethic
  • Managerial and leadership traits

Key responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise, develop and demonstrate feasibility of UX concepts, user interfaces and wireframes for mobile products
  • Apply trend research, insights, user scenarios thoroughly
  • Develop User Interface designs in line with the desired User Experience
  • Research and analyse user experience trends covering interface, services, features and interaction design languages
  • Work with the wider team to continuously explore and develop best practice within the department
  • Collaborate with GUI, motion designers and researchers
  • Put together documentation to communicate design concepts and solutions throughout the whole development process
  • Ensure the delivery of projects within deadlines while maintaining world-class standards
  • Collaborate with other departments in an atmosphere that is conducive to new levels of creativity and innovation [Product Design, Design Research, Engineering and Marketing]
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external consultants
