Position: Project Manager 

Location: North London/Hertfordshire 

Salary: 20-25k

Our client is an international company who design and source premium products for promotional purposes on a global basis. They are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated, extremely organised with a keen eye for detail.


  • To brief sourcing functions in a clear and succinct way to enable them to approach suppliers and manufacturers with a view to obtaining pricing
  • To build costings with assistance from the Ops Team as and when required
  • To provide finalised quotations to the sales team
  • To communicate pricing to the client
  • To brief and work with local/European suppliers (in line with guidance and training from the European Buyer)
  • To work with suppliers on the development of the product, liaising with sales or the client directly (as appropriate)
  • To write and ensure all details on the manufacturer purchase order are correct, and to create revisions as required
  • To ensure final prices are fully negotiated prior to confirming a purchase order
  • of pre-production and production samples - ensuring they are delivered on time, reviewed, labelled, distributed, and approved by the client and key stakeholders
  • Management of post-order administration tasks
  • Work closely with the QC team to ensure all QC and clients specific standards relating to auditing, testing and inspection are fulfilled
  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate information to all members of the team
  • Maintain project timelines and ensure the timely action and communication of key activities and milestones with key stakeholders
  • Monitor project expenditure, highlighting and reporting variances


  • Project management experience, or experience in a suitably equivalent discipline (merchandising, buying, order management)
  • Excellent (and disciplined) time management - both individually and for other stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with an eye for detail
  • Ability to work under own initiative / be proactive - seeks work, and identifies opportunities for improvement
  • Excellent multitasker - enabling the role holder to prioritise and meet deadlines in a pressurised, and at times, fast paced environment
  • IT Literate with an understanding & familiarity with Word/Excel/PowerPoint
