An exciting opportunity to work as a brand manager for a well-known pharmaceutical/toiletry brand based in Hertfordshire. The role will offer a full mix of marketing requiring you to work with existing and new products as you strengthen their presence in the market.

Client Details

My Client, based in Hertfordshire, is a family owned business that market and distribute a variety of health and beauty brands. My client delivers year on year growth in a competitive market due to their focus on innovation and powerful branded campaigns. They produces their own brands whilst also holding the licenses for marketing others. They market a range of brands from well known and loved household names to niche and specialists products. If you are looking for an autonomous role then this is the client for you!


Reporting to the Group Brand Manager you will be working across a portfolio of pharmaceutical brands. You will be responsible for:

* NPD from concept to launch - full ownership including creating its identity.

* Brand range extensions

* BTL and ATL campaigns ensuring all activity is in line with governing bodies

* Central point of contact for brands

* Develop, recommend and execute marketing plans.

* Looking after P&L data - organising marketing budget

* Own communication strategy for the brands showing creative eye.

* Managing internal and external stakeholders

* Building new brand concepts and preparing the brand for launch

* Review market trends

* Creating instore POS and dealing with distribution

* Working closely with the sales team

* Providing monthly forecasts

* Working with licensed brands


The ideal candidate will have strong FMCG marketing experience in either skin care, pharma, medical devices or any licensed products. They will also

* Have a Degree / CIM

* Full driving license

* Experience of brand planning and strategic thinking

* Demonstrate strong project management skills

* Experience with budgets/ P&L

* Experience in executing and analysing promotional activity

* Keen creative eye to work on advertising process

* Full mix of marketing experience

* NPD/ Innovation experience

* Experience working with Key Stakeholders

Job Offer

The Brand Manager can expect to receive a salary up to £38k. A company car will be provided for use on event days required to attend.
