I am currently looking for an experienced Freelance Layout Artist for a contract role with a large, established studio. Ideally you will have availability to start in late Sept for this position. 


On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for helping to schedule and take briefs, drawing up and redrawing layouts (digitally or by hand), reworking pages (in Quark) when required and generally helping to support the rest of the team with anything they need during busy periods such as proofing out pages and QC checking. 


The key skills Required for this role will be:


• Good Organisation & Time Management.

You will be prioritising workload to meet deadlines. 

• Good Communication Skills - working with the team in publications along with buying and also pre press

• You will have a Creative Eye/Eye for Detail & ideally be from a design background with previous experience in Graphics and/or Art 

• Have experience working on a Mac with some Photoshop and Quark knowledge
