I’m looking for an experienced and driven, senior marketing professional to join my client, who are a leading brand in Greater Manchester. As they continue on their quest for world domination, they need a creative, yet highly commercial marketer to join their growing team.

This is a key role within the business, so needs someone who is comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders. Your key role is to plan and implement a strategy which will see the brand’s market share increase, whilst also improving brand awareness, which you’ll do through a multichannel approach across a range of platforms to include:

-          Media                   -  Digital               - Printed collateral           - Instore activity

You’ll have responsibility for a small team, whose core focus is on maximising revenue through savvy marketing activity. Day to day, your role will include:-
- Collaborating with wider teams in order to ensure consistency of brand across all communications
- Involvement in NPD projects to ensure the best  outcome for the customer
- Trade marketing
- Creating effective promotions
- Forecasting in order to plan for the right activity in the right areas, at the right time
- Identifying and driving new business opportunities through marketing activity, in order to increase ROI
- Market and competitor research
- Presenting at key trade/range reviews/meetings
- Supporting the organisation of trade shows
- Ownership of a sizeable budget

This is a role which will provide genuine variety to someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, with scope to be involved in fully integrated marketing activity across a range of channels. The ideal candidate will be commercially focussed, with an ability to form a successful marketing strategy, whilst combining this with a creative outlook to ensure that the brand is set apart from its competitors. There’s no room for hierarchy here; you’ll need to be comfortable rolling your sleeves up and getting involved in day to day implementation, where required. You must have had experience in a B2C environment.
