As Global Strategic Insights Manager you will guide global strategies and innovation, and support key global projects, i.e. innovation, communication, consumer foundational initiatives, across a number of territories.  This role covers qual and quant research that feeds into the development of strategic plans, brand positioning and architecture, business modelling, innovation, packaging and copy strategy.

This position requires approximately 10-20% domestic and international travel. 

Key role deliverables:

  • Assist the team on key global strategic category initiatives, developing, and implementing multi-region projects.
  • Execute day-to-day research activity for the category and brands.  Assist in driving global innovation on prioritised territories in the context of accelerated growth. 
  • Identify business information needs and assist in developing learning plan.
  • Use knowledge of key macro trends and lead understanding of consumer, market and competitive landscape to diagnose business performance and address focused business issues.

Key qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional partners to impact decision-making and be confident in own opinion backed up by insight.
  • Ability to think analytically to understand complex or ambiguous problems or issues and communicate solutions/conclusions clearly and concisely.
  • Strong strategic business knowledge with the ability to appropriately use judgment and risk-taking.
  • Technical market research and analytical expertise and conversant in a range of qual and qual ad hoc research techniques.
  • Strong track record of progressive leadership in high performance FMCG and or consumer healthcare environment.
  • Multi-country research experience and cross-cultural sensitivity.
