Responsibilities

As a Middleweight Graphic Designer, you will be expected to produce a range of creative work.  Excellent conceptual, typographical, layout and production skills are required for both print and digital projects. You will be required to line manage a junior designer, providing artistic direction and support when needed:

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of tasks within the team
  • Liaising on a daily basis with clients and the wider design team
  • Thorough understanding of design and artwork production for print 
  • Advanced design skills to produce website wireframes, visual concepts and UX 
  • Advanced design skills to produce online material across multiple platforms, such as browsers and mobile devices 
  • Advanced skills in Adobe creative suite and print software 
  • Delivering projects on time and to agreed budgets
  • Motivating individuals and the team to meet and exceed client expectations
  • Identifying opportunities to increase monthly retainer and secure additional projects
  • Keeping clients happy and recognising/alerting the Senior Designer or Creative Director to any potential issues with an account
  • Co-ordinating freelancers who are collaborating on projects
  • Providing outline project estimates for the Senior Designer or Creative Director
