Marketing Communications Executive - 6 month contract
c.£45K pro rata plus excellent benefits

Immediate starter with a hands-on experience delivering marketing communications campaigns needed now for a busy and challenging fixed-term contract role working for one of the major transport providers operating across London.  Working alongside a team of like-minded creative people, you will work on a wide range of marketing initiatives, tactical and strategic, targeting the general public and businesses, visitors and other institutions with budgets ranging from £50K to £100K, spanning TV, radio, press and outdoor media to digital, social media and face to face activity.  This will include keeping track of projects and supporting the team with timing plans, preparing presentations and meeting and action notes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day delivery of campaigns and projects ensuring the technical accuracy, compliance with key guidelines.
  • Supporting integrated teams, including keeping track of the portfolio's scope of work, agreed outcomes and progress versus these outcomes.
  • Leading the day to day management of the portfolio's budget, including overseeing forecasting and ensuring quality of data entry that then feeds into financial management report
  • Supporting the portfolio team including sourcing timing plans, preparing presentations and supporting integrated teams and integrated working (meetings, action notes, status reports etc)

Skills Checklist
The key requirement for this role is hands-on experience working on marketing campaigns that have influenced customer opinions and behavior or built the profile of a brand or service, and generated increased revenues and sales.  With experience ideally gained in a client-side or agency environment, you will have worked with and/or within creative and media agencies, and will have a good understanding of consumer communications techniques and the ability to turn plans into rapid action!  You'll have excellent written and oral communications skills so you can explain your ideas and recommendations and secure the interest of key stakeholders.  A working knowledge of research and evaluation techniques, including customer research would be valuable.
