European Brand Manager
£50k + bonus
North of London / Job ref: TL884726

Be part of something truly exciting!  Our client is a $1 billion global OTC success story.  They now need a Brand Manager to join the team given their huge focus on the growth opportunity within Europe.  Alongside the Marketing Manager, the Brand Manager will develop and lead plans within key markets, including the UK.  With an entrepreneurial, start up culture, we need a Brand Manager excited to gain experience in all areas, particularly areas they wouldn't have exposure to within larger organisations.  So, if having full autonomy from the parent business, working for a company not held back with process and working in a quick, empowered decision making culture excites you, then maybe you are just who we are looking for!

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribution to the development of short and long range marketing strategy, for the UK and European markets.
  • Execution of annual marketing plans to achieve growth targets.
  • Work with the cross functional team and external agency partners to develop and execute marketing campaigns to be deployed in multiple countries.
  • Management of marketing budgets and effective deployment of resources.
  • Analysis of market indicators and trends, brand performance, and competitors - development of strategies and plans based on the findings.
  • Support the development of go-to-market models for new brand launches.
  • Manage the product portfolio of the brands.

The Person

  • The role would suit an experienced marketer with c.4-5 years' experience in a consumer-oriented brand-loving FMCG or OTC environment.  Blue chip, global company experience preferred.  Any experience in consumer healthcare would be an advantage.
  • Someone seeking accountability and who is prepared to initiate and make big decisions with confidence.  Someone motivated to work in a long term transformational role.
  • An individual excited to help create a new legacy that the whole team can be proud of.
