Exciting 12 Month Contract for a Creative Design Brand Manager looking to make their mark and craft their own role within an Iconic FMCG Blue Chip Company. Highly visible role with plenty of exposure to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, the preferred candidate will support and lead on the design for existing and new products and campaigns across global markets.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design Management & Leadership on Projects:

* Translate insights into design ideas and brand opportunities
* Frame innovation challenges and lead design briefing for innovation projects
* Manage agency partners, briefing process and creative direction on projects
* Lead design process to enable speed, creativity and agility on projects

Brand Design Principles:

* Create design principles covering the full product experience
* Support the team in bringing this to life across global markets

Pioneer Professional Experience beyond the product:

* Identify and drive opportunities to impact the consumers experience of our products and assets linked with our innovation strategy
* Partner with innovation strategy lead to deliver design strategy that supports our brand ambition


Profile

Preferred Skillset:

* Extensive experience working in design strategy or design management role with significant responsibility in leading design agenda (in house or agency)
* Proven track record of design management on product innovation projects
* Demonstrated leadership in driving change in design culture, thinking and process
* Experience leading product design and innovation projects is preferred
* A personal passion for design and the ability to be a champion it across cross functional teams
* Strong leadership skills with the drive to think big and take action
* Willingness to challenge the status quo and lead by example
