As Business Development Manager your responsibilities will include, but not restricted to;

* Researching and connecting with key decision makers through a variety of Business Development activities
* Generating enquiries and building lasting relationships with clients with a requirement for contract manufactured chemicals
* Leading self-generated sales meetings with clients to pitch solutions, understand client objectives, build relationships and ultimately secure revenue for the business
* Securing quality appointments based on market intelligence
* Managing a small portfolio of our National Accounts
* Gaining a greater understanding of our target markets and an understanding of key target clients within that arena.
* Reporting accurately on sales activity, pipeline opportunities, forecasted results

Person Specification

* An excellent understanding of selling creative solutions to our target markets
* The ability to research and source your own leads
* Solid experience in selling high value products, identifying potential new markets/business opportunities, highlight and present to the Sales Director
* An understanding of a range of our products and the chemicals market and the ability to identify suitable solutions quickly
* Experience in full sales process from sourcing prospect, pitching and then closing
* High attention to detail and to have worked in a pressurised, professional environment
* Reaching and exceeding targets as set by the Sales Director
* The ability to represent the company at our events as agreed with the Sales Director
