A rapidly growing B2C organisation based in Yorkshire.

Due to increased growth and ambitious objectives, my client is actively looking for a driven and 'hands on' Marketing Director. This role requires a strong digital bias, providing pragmatic leadership across the global marketing activities. The business is looking for someone who can define the brand and values; intensify the social and paid-media marketing and establish an integrated CRM strategy. This is a strategic role and responsible for business performance and continued growth


* Provide clear strategic direction to the marketing function including developing digitally focused strategies and frameworks for acquisition, conversion and retention/loyalty.
* Ensure that strategies and approaches are integrated with and support wider business plans, particularly those relating to sales account management and new product launches.
* Lead a programme to define the future brand identity, ensuring it represents the wider business aims and ideals.
* Establish a framework for product management to bring the market, product focus and organisational coordination needed as the business continues to expand.
* Develop the research and analysis needed to bring a deep understanding of the current and future markets/product categories.
* Provide leadership and direction for the Marketing Team as it develops and executes innovative campaigns across paid media, social and display. Campaigns to be targeted at raising brand awareness and supporting wider marketing activities such as new product launches and customer campaigns.
* Oversee a program to overhaul the website so that it truly represents the business in all its aspects; is informative and has ecommerce capability.
* Develop and implement a strategy to manage relationships with current and future customers better. It is envisaged that this will touch every part of the business, portraying our brand; analysing and utilising customer data, and defining every customer touch point.
* Manage the Creative Services Team ensuring great content generation that is consistent with brand guidelines; timeliness of product launches, and agreed levels of support for the business in the production of presentations and marketing collateral.

Personal Profile

* National and International Marketing experience in a Head of or Marketing Director position managing large teams on both traditional and digital marketing channels - B2B & B2C
* Full mix marketing experience essential - offline & online
* Significant experience creating, developing and implementing Marketing & Digital strategies to ensure business growth and objectives
* Experience using data, analytics and customer behaviour insights to optimise and inform marketing
* Develop, justify and manage marketing budgets in line with business requirements and objectives
* Provide direction on commercial issues from a product and marketing perspective including developing business cases to support and inform decision-making
