Digital Analytics Manager

The Opportunity

Our client, one of the world's best loved leisure brands, is looking for a Digital Analytics Manager to drive a ‘digital data first' mentality and deliver actionable insight around user behaviour to the business.

Reporting directly into the Global Digital Director, the Digital Analytics Manager will be responsible for establishing a function which is able to collect data from app and web products. They will work closely with a variety of senior stakeholders and play a critical role in developing a digital, customer-first strategy to underpin business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop digital analytics and report key insights (e.g. traffic, journey conversion, visits/views)
  • Use a variety of analytics tools to interrogate app/web data to provide actionable insight
  • Create, implement and continuously improve an efficient process for extraction of digital data using available tools and technologies
  • Work closely with relevant team members (Product Owners, UX Designers) to ensure they are working in a unified, ‘digital data first' manner
  • Keep up to date with the latest thinking around digital analytics and ensure the business is ahead of the curve when it comes to trends and best practice


The Person

Reporting directly into the Global Digital Director, the person will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of digital analytics and how to read the ensuing data to develop an actionable, insight-led strategy.

In addition he/she:

  • Will have experience of working with Google and Adobe Analytics
  • Will be able to evidence having worked with visualisation tools (Tableau for example)
  • Will demonstrate a strong level of commercial acumen and the ability to understand the wider business context of the work they are doing
  • May have an academic background in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science etc.
  • Will have the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and take colleagues and virtual teams on a journey with them
