The Content Manager will be responsible for managing the content team to produce engaging and customer facing content, working alongside the marketing team to align to the overall marketing strategy. Reporting to the Head of Marketing to develop and maintain a clear tone of voice for each brand.

The Content Manager will be responsible for:

* Developing a clear Tone of Voice for each brand that can be adapted to different customer profiles, objectives and touch points including, Customer Acquisition, Customer Retention and Customer Loyalty & Advocacy.
* Act as a guardian for the brands across all channels to maintain consistent and inspiring tone of voice.
* Work with the wider marketing team to understand key objectives and create compelling seasonal campaign stories to align with the overarching brand.
* Lead Content Planning sessions and create, manage and maintain the content calendar.
* Guide content creation teams to ensure consistency through communications.
* Act as the conduit between Marketing and Creative to brief and deliver creative assets.
* Manage 3rd parties to source relevant content.
* Manage and brief PR Agency for external PR messaging.
* Define and deliver weekly email content to include brand, seasonal messaging, promotions, calls to action and curated content.
* Working with clear KPI's to develop and deliver an engaging Social Media strategy.
* Manage a team of copywriters and social media executives to deliver inspiring, engaging and brand communications.
* Develop team skills, creativity and knowledge.


The Content Manager will have:

* A proven background in a fast paced retail environment.
* A passion for the outdoors.
* A track-record of building campaigns across all channels to engage customers, resulting in customer acquisition and retention.
* A track-record of creating content plans to align with overall marketing and brand strategy.
* A strong background in producing content and copywriting.
* Ability to lead a team.
* Ability to turn around product quickly but to the highest standard.
* Collaborative hands-on approach.
* Commercial awareness.
* Excellent communications.
* Meticulous attention to detail.
