The Head of Internal Communications will be responsible for providing strategic leadership on internal communications and engagement to engage and inspire employees.

* Development and delivery of an integrated internal communications and engagement strategy that engages staff and promotes the organisation's vision and objectives with a co-ordinated, company-wide approach, ensuring consistency with external communications
* Creating innovative and impactful communications and engagement plans, that supports the change communications as well as engaging and inspiring staff
* Ensuring the delivery of high quality content and messaging that is in line with the organisation's culture and vision
* Building strong relationships with senior leaders across the organisation and working closely with them to offer guidance and supporting on internal engagement best practice
* Developing and delivering engaging two-way internal communications to build a better understanding of a shared organisation direction and encourage employee voice
* Measuring and reviewing effectiveness of communications activity and channels across all internal audiences in terms of impact and reach, and that these are taken into consideration when making both organisational and operational decisions
* Promote the importance of communications and engagement in preserving the culture of an organisation


* Passionate about making a difference to people's lives, especially those within the organisation

* Proven experience in developing and implementing an internal communications and engagement strategy within a change environment in a large organisation
* Exceptional track record in utilising a range of communication tools and channels effectively and measuring their success
* Excellent influencing, negotiating and persuading skills with ability to work with a range of stakeholders and at senior level, including high profile organisations
* Proven experience in ability to build strong and influential relationships with people from a range of backgrounds and engaging teams to work efficiently
* Showcasing a collaborative and visible leadership approach that supports learning and teamwork
* Providing feedback and coaching to allow the development of staff and teams
