This leading national legal firm is looking to appoint an Internal Communications Manager, who will work closely with the Internal Engagement Manager to plan the Internal Communications Strategy and messaging for the firm, creating a compelling program of timely content which inspires and engages a range of audiences. The Internal Communications Manager then focuses on disseminating information via physical and digital channels, whilst the Internal Engagement Manager leads on communication at internal forums such as firm conferences.

Responsibilities include:

* Managing the creation and delivery of compelling, on-brand messaging to engage people in the strategy, including firm and sector objectives.
* Reinforcing culture: ensuring that values are reinforced throughout internal communications.
* Raising awareness of firm and sector campaigns. Will need to work closely with the wider client and marketing team to link internal communications to external marketing campaigns.
* Supporting cross-selling: providing lawyers with information about products and services, and how to find additional information.
* Improving efficiency: reducing the amount of time spent on emails, and looking up information.
* Facilitating dialogue across the business, ensuring that internal communications is a two-way process.
* Ongoing development and management of an annual internal communications plan.
* Working with the Head of Governance & Planning in relation to the overall governance and engagement timetable and quarterly internal 'investor' reports.
* Managing and improving the internal communications channels and developing a new intranet.

You will have a background in internal communications and a thorough understanding of different media channels, experience of working with content management systems, email marketing systems, social media tools, Adobe, and Microsoft Office, with advanced experience with Excel for reporting purposes. You'll have excellent communication skills, with the ability to write for a broad audience, articulating complex messages succinctly, and in an engaging style. You will be expected to be familiar and compliant with the full range of regulatory policies and procedures. Highly desirable skills would be experience of managing the development of an intranet and experience of working in a professional services environment.
