Digital Product Owner - Manchester - 4 month initial contract - £35-40k

Your new company
Your new company is an international B2B company that operate within the retail sector, located in the heart of Manchester. Newly established in the UK this is an innovative and collaborative organisation who have a start-up mentality with years of industry knowledge and experience. Due to expansion within the team they are looking to recruit for a Digital Product Owner, initially on a 4 month basis with the opportunity afterwards for the role to go permanent.

Your new role
As the Digital Product Owner you will be tasked with building and maintaining a commercially focused roadmap of online capabilities prioritised through deep and robust commercial analysis and understanding the wider business priorities for online development. You will work closely with the Product, IT, Digital and Sales and Marketing teams and you will ensure that the client's online business proposition is optimised to drive overall eCommerce penetration and sales performance.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of digital product management, ideally this will be as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar and will ideally have experience in working as part of a SCRUM delivery team. You will respond to initial requests for development and recommend appropriate approach to deliver the change, e.g. as a bug/small change, CR, project request, etc. You will have an understanding of a broad e-Commerce skill-set, which will include SEO, functional design, user experience, creative design, content management, online marketing (PPC, email, affiliate).
