The Marketing & Communications Executive will be responsible for the end to end delivery of all national trade marketing campaigns. Working closely with the Marketing Manager you will work to enable all assets required for effectively delivering all campaigns to market as well as manage any appropriate trade marketing campaigns driven by trade partners (regional & national).

The Marketing Communications Executive will be responsible for the following:

Social Media:

* Manage trade social media strategy and engagement campaigns
* Work closely with the digital agency to ensure that all communications across different platforms are in line with our company strategy and yearly comms plan.
* Monitor, measure and report on the success or otherwise of all national and local trade marketing activity

PR & Advertising:

* Work closely with the marketing manager and external agency to ensure the successful executive of the yearly media plan.

Direct Marketing:

* Work closely with the agency to prepare e-marketing campaigns in line with the business needs.

Sales support & Incentive Programs:

* Sales Leads

* Support the sales team in preparing ppt presentations (i.e. customer & company presentations)

Monitor and coordinate all marketing support activities such as:

* Sales promotions tracking and processing

* Process, track & report all sales incentives (i.e. Training incentive scheme, seasonal campaigns, focus campaigns)

* Individual sales rep & sales promotion monthly budget monitoring report.

Event Management:

* Coordinate & execute all business events (i.e Network events, trade shows/exhibitions, factory trips, merchant incentive trips)

* Support the sales team in coordinating regular breakfast mornings, local trade events, training events etc.

Database management (CRM):

* Customer database management: Build and maintain a customer database (all channels: merchant, installer & homeower) for marketing activities.

* Work closely with internal & external stakeholders in the development of the database.

* Provide sales/marketing reports to the sales and marketing teams as required.

Relationship management:

* Liaise with external suppliers including design agencies, photographers, printers and developers to determine the most cost effective route to produce desired results.

* Brief external key suppliers

* Establish regular contact with the group to help support with local marketing requirements.

* Liaise with content owners (internal stakeholders) to ensure that all content (Press Releases, Case Studies) are successfully delivery within the set deadline.

Administrative Tasks:

* Invoicing: process purchase requests & purchase orders for all approved marketing activities.

* Notify different stakeholders with relevant notifications (Internal bulletins, SAP notification uploads i.e. Company closures, price increase)

* Stock take management (via the fulfilment site)

* Manage all promotional items - ordering & distribution (in line with set budgets)

* Manage the distribution of commercial literature with the external supplier including stock taking and reordering.

* Maintain image library

* Log & track different activities as stated above


The successful candidate will have the following skills/attributes:

* Marketing degree or CIM Qualified

* Excellent IT Skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

* Strong verbal & written communication skills

* Excellent copy writing skills

* Have an eye for detail, maintain optimum levels of accuracy and quality in all deliverables.

* Time management

* Project management

* Team player

* Self-starter - think out of the box

* Eager to learn and develop in the business

Job Offer

The Marketing & Communications Executive role is offering a basic salary between £25,000 - £30,000 (dependent on experience) + bonus + other added benefits.
