This person will be responsible for the delivery of email communications with the aim of enhancing awareness and engagement among the organisation's membership base.

* Assisting with the migration of the organisation's email system (to Dotmailer)
* Managing the day to day activities of the email channel for local and international teams
* Ensuring emails are on brand and of a high standard of quality
* Writing copy, editing, proof reading, checking URLs and email formatting
* Managing email data including de-duplication of email send data, segmentation, etc
* Creating targeted and segmented email sends working with other internal teams on how best to segment data to decrease send of irrelevant emails
* Working with the Email Marketing Manager to review success rates of campaigns and towards strategies to improve email metrics
* Assisting the Email Marketing Manager to influence email strategy
* Managing the daily email schedules across various teams in the organisation
* Reviewing email metrics for local campaigns, including reporting on open, click and call to action rates, unsubscribes, bounces etc
* Acting as the main point of contact for any email build queries from staff members
* Working with global teams to manage email in our regional offices
* Spot gaps in campaigns and recommending improvements where necessary
* Working closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation



* Proven email marketing experience including an understanding of segmentation and targeting
* Ability to evaluate and report on email marketing activity and campaigns using key metrics
* Strong written and verbal skills with ability to work with stakeholders of all levels
* Excellent time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects at once
* Proactive self-starter with ability to work autonomously but also collaboratively as part of a team
* Being a positive and flexible team member


* Email migration / automation experience (Dotmailer highly desirable)
* Previous experience within a membership or education organisation
* Degree or equivalent preferably in Marketing, or relevant marketing / digital marketing qualification
* Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
