Creative Designer

Glasgows is one of the UK's leading creative agencies and with 30 years' experience we have established an enviable reputation in the live events industry. In recent years we have also been recognised for our standalone film and animation work, having been the recipient of two EVCOM awards since 2016 and nominated for another in this year's awards. We help our clients communicate and interact with their stakeholders, creating impact and maximising their ROI by developing and delivering memorable events, innovative digital solutions and inspiring film.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who enjoys a vibrant working environment and who shares our goals for creativity and excellence. You will have excellent technical knowledge and customer interaction skills, working as part of our creative team to produce content for events, proposals and pitches, along with standalone film, animation and digital projects, often working on multiple different projects at the same time. 


Working independently and as part of wider project teams, the Creative Designer will produce a wide variety of content for events and standalone projects. We are looking for someone with as wide a skill set and experience as possible, who can interpret client briefs, work within corporate guidelines and generate creative concepts and visual ideas that bring projects to life. Every day is different and work may include:

  • Stage set / exhibition stand designs
  • 3D models and visuals
  • Video editing and motion graphics (production and post-production)
  • Presentation content for events (PowerPoint / Keynote / Prezi etc.)
  • Print and web design

You will need the ability to manage your own work across a number of projects simultaneously, sometimes to tight deadlines. Based in Leyland, you will need to be flexible and prepared to travel as you may be involved with filming and being part of the technical team working on high profile events across the UK.


We are looking for someone with as wide a skill set and experience as possible, however you may specialise in one of the areas listed above. Knowledge of 3D design, video production, post-production and animation for stage sets, live stage environments and on-screen presentations, is desirable. Experience of Visio or AutoCAD for floor plans would also be an advantage, as well as proficiency with the following software packages:

  • Cinema 4D
  • Final Cut Pro
  • After Effects
  • The Adobe CC Suite
  • Keynote
  • PowerPoint

The ideal candidate should have some knowledge of set/exhibition construction techniques and will understand how content and designs will translate in live event environments.


Our Head Office is based in Leyland, Lancashire. The position carries an excellent package including salary circa £25K-£30K depending on experience plus contributory pension scheme, as well as non-contractual profit related bonus together with other benefits such as healthcare insurance which are activated following a period of employment.
