We are working with a small, independent, creative agency based in central London work with a range or clients and disciplines covering branding and communications that include print and digital. They pride themselves on their fascination of brands, creativity and wealth of experience, and have a vibrant and friendly studio team.

They are looking for a IT savvy Artworker to come and join the team, the role will be two fold and time will be split according to day to day requirements, Artworker being the main responsibility with studio IT as 10% - 30% of the role.

You will need have a keen interest in all things tech to work across the creative studio, you will need to be technically minded, methodical, patient, pro-active, able to manage multiple issues at once and be up to date on latest industry requirements.

Artwork responsibilities to artwork design files, getting them ready for print and digital;

Liaising with designers and project managers to ensure every file that leaves the building is 100% correct
Taking design files and reworking where needed to match print specifications of third part suppliers (media companies, proofing houses and printers)
Being responsible for signing off artwork files from a technical perspective (based on print/production specifications provided)
Organising and filing final artwork files and any associated documents to keep on their server
Press pass experience ideal but not essential
An eye for retouch is a bonus but not essential
Highest level of skill when using Creative Cloud programmes

Studio IT responsibilities, supporting their infrastructure and working closely with their suppliers across;

Servers (liaising with outside supplier)
Phones and conference units (liaising with outside supplier)
Macs & hardware (ordering new machines, arranging servicing for old ones, ordering adhoc based on studio needs - USBs, HD's, etc.)
Software programmes (keeping record and managing licences, subscriptions)
Trouble-shooting staff IT problems ( bigger issues co-ordinated with their suppliers)
Budget awareness of company IT spend, forecasting of IT needs
