We are lucky to be partnering with an exciting player in the growing British fintec scene. Established in 2000, the business has gone from strength to strength, now operating some of the most high profile retail branded cards in the UK along with a portfolio of 'own-brand' consumer credit products. In 2014 it received private equity funding accelerating its substantial growth and took them from 50 to 300 employees based in Central London serving nearly 6 million customers.

It is now recruiting for an integral hire within the business who will be responsible for specific and targeting campaigns across its existing customer base. Leading the development and implementation of the strategy across the 'own brands' and 'co brand' portfolios you will work closely with the commercial, legal and IT teams to deliver a robust multi touchpoint customer journey.

A crucial element to the success for the role with be defining the evolution of the strategy through robust analytics, customer research and competitor analysis. You will drive innovative approaches to communications to maximise customer understanding and deliver business results.

Key accountabilities:

  • Ownership of the marketing plan across own and co brands, ensuring that the marketing plan delivers all commercial objectives
  • Evolution of the customer communications strategy as the commercial strategy develops further
  • Implement a multi touch customer journey
  • Liaise with technical team to define and create solutions to trigger messages as part of the overarching customer journey
  • Work cross functionally to integrate related communications from wider business areas into a coherent and centralised customer journey
  • Provide thought leadership on communication development and strategic approach
  • Delivering exceptional customer experience
  • Manage messaging across the mobile app and e-servicing linkage with existing communication


  • Proven track record of leading a team of marketers to deliver a complex program of campaigns
  • Experience of building effective relationships
  • Significant Salesforce and digital communication experience (mobile, SMS, e-mail)
  • Strong CRM skills
  • Creative marketing skills
  • Strong data understanding and how to utilise data to drive campaign performance
  • Strong digital marketing skills
  • Campaign execution experience


  • Broad knowledge of UK credit industry
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment
  • Previous CRM experience
  • Experience of large scale change projects
  • Experience of working in a highly regulated environment
