The role of Internal Content Writer is for a Financial Services company based in central London. The role will help manage the content on the company intranet and help with a future intranet launch project.

The role of Internal Content Writer includes the following responsibilities:
Manage intranet content, ensuring information is easy to find
Help to write content explaining key procedures and processes for employees
Help to create video content
Ensure process and procedure content is fully aligned with Legal, Compliance, Technical or Operations requirements
Manage out of date intranet content
Ensure accurate mapping of content on intranet
Help with new intranet launch
Work with key stakeholders in the business to ensure documentation is correct and effective


The ideal candidate for the Internal Content Writer position will possess the following:
Be degree educated, with a min. 2:1. Ideally in a writing based degree - i.e. English, History etc.
Have very strong written skills, with exceptional attention to detail
Be very process driven in approach to work
Ideally have some experience in either a technical writing, communications or written proposals type of role
Able to engage with senior stakeholders and clearly understand their needs and feedback
An understanding of intranet user journey management would be an advantage
Experience in financial services would also be an advantage
