Fantastic opportunity for exceptional marketer to bring their passion, strategic rigour, creativity and flair to this exciting and uniquely role with a global leader in the drinks industry.  Working as part of a senior global team, your specific remit in this role is to lead the global content strategy for a massive spirits brand; guiding and inspiring key agency partners to deliver compelling, innovative, award-winning ATL and digital activity that propels the brand forward in multiple geographies across the world.  A brand which describes itself as big, fast and fun, we're looking for someone who can put a smile on the face of its consumers; someone who can develop content and activity that builds on a robust brand heritage and positioning, but is brave, high-impact and celebrates fun times with a sometimes quirky and risk-taking approach.

Working within a global structure, this is a role that requires exceptional influencing skills and the ability to get senior players in local markets and at a global level, to buy-into and passionately embrace your ideas and recommendations.  Already one of the company's top brands, and growing rapidly, you will be the ultimate champion for the brand - never completely satisfied and always looking for the next big creative idea.  You will enjoy working with talented, opinionated, smart people - exchanging ideas and getting them on the same page.

Skills Checklist

This exceptional role needs a super smart, brand passionate marketer who thrives on a challenge, has ambitions to reach the highest level and has a real sense of fun!  You will have worked on major consumer brands, with a track record of leading highly successful, highly innovative communications strategies.  Key skills and experience criteria include:

  • A minimum of 10 years blue-chip experience working with major FMCG, drinks or other consumer brands, ideally with some gained in a regional or global role.
  • Extensive experience working with creative agencies and developing advertising, digital and other content assets that have engaged the consumer and driven real brand growth.
  • A positive, collaborative, open approach to working with internal and external colleagues, but a clear sense of purpose with the ability to prioritise resources to deliver the strategy and align the right people behind them.
  • The ability to simplify and bring clarity to complex brand, portfolio and positioning issues.
  • A track record of inspiring work that is rich in flair and encourages people to take risk; turning big dreams and ambitious commercial objectives into reality.
