This company creates furniture, lighting, upholstery and textiles, each one hand made by traditional British craftsmen, their clients include top international decorators, hotels, restaurants and high profile retail customers.
Often featured in the design press, including World of Interiors, House and Garden, Architectural Digest and FT Weekend House and Home, they have their own range of fabrics and wallpapers and their own weaving workshop.
Along with their London Showroom and Head Office they also have studios in New York and San Francisco and are currently seeking a new Fabrics Manager for their dedicated fabrics and wallpapers sales and production team based in London. Warehousing and sampling distribution is managed by third-party suppliers.
Purpose of the Position:
The fabrics and wallpaper division has been identified as an area of significant opportunity in the company's five-year plan. With revenue from fabrics and wallpapers growing significantly year on year, the team is also expanding in order to continue to provide excellent levels of customer service and to drive future growth. The Fabrics Manager is responsible for delivering revenue targets in the UK and Export markets and is also responsible for all aspects of running the fabrics and wallpaper business, including supplier relationships, budget responsibility, seasonal launches, range reviews, sampling, warehousing and fulfilment.
Person / Experience Required:
They are seeking an individual with relevant experience and understanding of the luxury sector. You should be a strong team man-manager and have excellent budget management experience. This would suit a strategic thinker with commercial awareness of sales and how a business works.
