The Head of Marketing role is a key function of the sales and marketing process. The successful applicant will need to adopt the business philosophy in order to fulfil short, medium and long term goals as well as being a role model for all employees being a key member of the senior management team for the UK subsidiary.

My client is a B2B business based in Bedfordshire. Established over 40 years ago, my client is the market leader within it's industry and hold a strong reputation driven by quality and delivery of service to clients. Through growth, a new exciting opportunity has developed as Head of Marketing which will continue to help the business grow and develop.


The key responsibilities of the Head of Marketing include:

* Conception, implementation and further development of customer life-cycle management, considering all customer touch points.
* Drive and efficiently develop internal sales teams to support pipeline generation.
* Conduct key competitor analysis.
* In conjunction with the Managing Director, set UK goals and implement marketing strategy to align with general UK strategic targets.
* Ensure strong relationships are maintained with consultants and specifying dealers.
* Create and monitor personal performance plans for direct reports (4).
* Develop and coordinate with Sales team for dealer promotions.
* Ensure correct use of CRM platform and ongoing analysis of KPI's.
* Deliver projects on time and within budget.


The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:

* Experience of B2B marketing and in field marketing.
* Proven experience working with Sales teams.
* Experience of working in a European organisation, able to demonstrate an understanding of cultural and marketing channel differentiation.
* Proven marketing automation and customer lifestyle management experience.
* Excellent communication skills, strong oral and written skills - able to present to all levels of a business.
* Excellent IT skills.

Job Offer

The Head of Marketing role is paying between £55,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience) + bonus + company car + other added benefits.
