My client is a market leading retail business who has witnessed an impressive rate of growth over the past 5 years. As a result of this continued growth, an exciting opportunity for a Brand PR Manager has now arisen to join their existing talented marketing team.

The primary responsibility of the Brand PR Manager is to drive consideration of the brand via PR, helping to plan, coordinate and deliver brand PR strategy across all relevant customer touchpoints. As a key member of the marketing department this role will also play a key part in delivering a joined up PR, social and content plan amplifying their broader marketing campaigns across the year, while also taking line management responsibility for a PR assistant.

The responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

* Support the head of department in the development of integrated PR campaigns in line with business plans across multiple channels.
* Managing the PR agency in dealing with press enquiries, managing relationships with relevant industry publications, influencer activity and other general PR campaign delivery.

* Planning, delivery and review of all key PR (and influencer) events, working closely with external PR agency and internal teams to deliver a best in class execution
* Manage agency relationships to ensure we get maximum value from any retainer or investment.

* Take line manager responsibility for the PR assistant ensuring they have clear set of objectives and deliverables.
* Build effective internal relationships to ensure the business understands the value of PR campaigns and any events/experiential activity and provides timely information and support as required.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in PR Management within consumer/ retail related sector. You will be an effective stakeholder manager who is comfortable in managing multiple communication channels and stakeholders. You will be a highly professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills.
