A leading UK not for profit organisation is seeking to strengthen their marketing & communications team through the recruitment of a Communications Manager. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and based in the North West, the role of Communications Manager will contribute to the execution of the company's integrated communications strategy.

In order to successfully fulfil the role of Communications Manager, the successful candidate will be experienced in delivering communications through multiple channels, exhibit flexibility & the ability to manage a varied workload while operating in a fast paced, changing environment.

The scope of the Communications Manager role will include but not be limited to:

* Supporting senior managers in the development and delivery of marketing campaigns in accordance with the wider strategy and brand values
* Line management responsibility including coaching and objective setting
* Contributing to key internal communications
* Ensuring consistency in communications plans across all areas of the organisation
* Supporting the Digital Marketing Manger in the delivery of online communications and the adoption of new digital technologies
* Managing relationships with external third parties
* Dealing with media requests and handling press enquiries
* Managing activity budgets and drive the best possible ROI
* Engaging with and influencing of key stakeholders
* Travel to other offices when relevant

Required skills & experience:

* Educated to degree level or with an equivalent marketing qualification
* Prior experience creating and delivering a multi-channel communications strategy
* Team management experience
* Experience managing large budgets
* Knowledge of multiple digital platforms
* Experience managing agency relationships
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
