A modern and progressive local government organisation looking for an energetic, forward-thinking individual to join their innovative internal communications team during an exciting time, where they will be reviewing and developing their new strategic plans for the organisation.

Your new role

As the Senior Internal Communications Lead you will lead on all internal channels and governance. You will be responsible for the communications between the Chief executive and key stakeholders as well staff engagement. You will be expected to develop and implement key strategic advice and support to the Chief Executive as well as organisation priorities and strategy management. You will be delivering creative and innovative digitally integrated internal communications.
Key responsibilities:

* Working alongside the Strategic communications manager and Core communications lead to implement internal communications that align with the ongoing strategic plan for the organisation
* To advise the Chief Executive and Senior managers on strategic internal communications.
* Provide a clear strategic internal communications function for the organisation.
* Prepare briefs and presentations for senior stakeholders and staff.
* Manage internal communications to cover major projects across corporate and HR departments.
* Account management prioritising and managing resources in keeping with clear standards within the organisation.
* Reporting on and managing analytics to show the impact ad effectiveness of internal communications.
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with senior

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a progressive creative internal communications expert with a proactive and reactive attitude. You will be reporting to and communicating the objectives of the Chief Executive to key stakeholders therefore you must be able to develop and manage relationships with senior managers across the organisation. They have a paperless objective so digital communications experience is crucial as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of external communications and marketing is desirable.
