Marketing Manager - Creative Agency

£35k - £40k per annum

A well-established, London-based creative agency is seeking a Marketing Manager to work closely alongside their business development team to act as a key enabler of growth opportunities for their brand. Focusing on strategy, design, digital and project management, they are the first ever agency to be fully owned by its staff, so a culture of reward and recognition is at the heart of all they do.

About the role:

The Marketing Manager will continue to grow the agency through delivering on business development strategy and defining and communicating a clear agency proposition both internally and externally.

Delivering compelling assets to tell their story effectively, you will work closely with the Business Development Manager to secure new client opportunities.

You will play a key role in raising the profile and credibility of the agency, ultimately driving opportunities and enquiries from clients.


* Establish relationships with the press and generate coverage.
* Planning and managing PR initiatives, producing press releases, liaising with clients and internal teams.
* Close working relationships with the social media team, developing plans across LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram on an ongoing basis.
* Planning and managing an awards calendar, award entries and submissions for industry tables.
* Managing marketing industry memberships.
* Sourcing and arranging speaker opportunities for senior team members to raise the profile of the agency.
* Proactively raising the profile of the internal thought leadership platform.
* Working collaboratively with the internal business development team to create compelling campaigns to drive lead generation and enable new client relationships.
* Developing positive relationships with all agency teams to ensure a cohesive marketing and communications plan and help support them with initiatives.
* Managing the Business Development Manager to deliver agreed strategy and achieve their targets for gaining new opportunities.
* Building the agency's profile both internally and externally, through managing mailings, event logistics, venue hire and external comms.
* Collating and managing all communications templates, ensuring they are clear and impactful across credentials, pitches, proposals and case studies.
* Establishing and managing process for case study creation on project completion, including photography, copy, video, etc.
* Managing the agency website to deliver a powerful and engaging platform, reflecting the agency's services and aspirations.
* Create and maintain target media list.
* Working with agency team to deliver content for all channels.
* Creating presentations, proposals, and tender responses to support the BD and client services teams.
* Researching new markets that the agency is seeking opportunities in.
* Establishing and maintaining agency CRM database, following all GDPR requirements and producing effective data analysis.
* Managing and measuring external comms, including social media, and generating the content plan/content creation.
* Ensuring deliverables hit deadlines for BD.

About you:

* Enthusiasm for working agency-side, but can be from a brand-side background.
* Experienced in driving compelling and creative marketing campaigns across all touch-points and channels.
* Experience of working successfully alongside sales and business development team to drive inbound marketing success.
* Comfortable with the networking and events side of marketing.
* Capable in building a profile for a brand or agency through PR, media relations and able to read between the lines to identify key opportunities to raise a brand/agency's profile.
* Ambitious, passionate and a strategic thinker.
