One of the largest professional services firms in the world is looking for a an experienced, credible and highly motivated Senior Manager to join the Market & Industry Driver team, on a 9-12 month fixed term contract basis, in order to offer support to the Insurance IFRS17 industry.

The prime focus of the Sales and Marketing team is to support the development and implementation of the firm's market strategy and in particular to deliver revenue growth, enhanced relationships and networks and a distinctive brand experience. In this role, the successful candidate will work with key stakeholders to support go to market strategy and business priorities, build brand profile, develop networks, relationships, define propositions and drive engagement with key buyer groups and accounts. Working with Lead Relationship Partners and their account teams, you will establish and implement a marketing and business development strategy to manage a portfolio of IFRS17 accounts and will be tasked with driving the pipeline and leading the pursuit process for major opportunities. It is essential that the Senior Marketing & BD Manager is seen as the leader in driving the Insurance IFRS17 portfolio forward on a consistent basis, developing the agenda for and leading monthly calls and chairing pipeline meetings. The successful candidate will lead the client feedback programme and ensure the messages and learnings from client feedback are shared and acted upon to help increase opportunity conversion and client satisfaction. Acting as a strategic advisor to the IFRS17 Leader on all sector growth plans, market opportunities, client issues and channels to market, you will work with sales and marketing teams to ensure relevant insight is fed into thought leadership and that marketing campaigns are properly targeted and driven to deliver return on investment. You will be expected to attend client, prospect and intermediary events and ensure effective follow up and build external relationships with key industry bodies and opinion formers to create an external footprint. You will also lead the internal comms strategy, developing a connected team and platform for sharing information and developing content and identifying issues and best practice.

The Senior Marketing & BD Manager must be creative and innovative with a proven track record in business development, sales, client relationship management and opportunity management, ideally within a professional services environment. Previous experience in Insurance IFRS17 or FS is also essential. Proactive and tenacious, with a positive can do approach, you will possess strong people management and development skills with demonstrable past experience of managing teams. In addition, candidates will require excellent project management and powerful communication skills in order to be credible and to be able to challenge the Insurance IFRS17 senior management.
