Description

As the Digital Content Officer you will offer your specialist expertise across the organisation. You will also be involved in;

* Creating and uploading copy, images, film, animations and illustrations onto the website and other digital platforms. You will also help to design banners and assist with web/digital visuals.
* You will help to use insight and data to drive the development of new digital content. Using web analytics to monitor performance and recommend improvements where required.
* You will help to recognise the importance of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and social media content sharing and work with colleagues in developing content strategies to increase number of visitors to the website; followers to social media platforms and the engagement with and sharing of content.
* Support mobile marketing activity including app based, in game, location based and SMS marketing, through the provision of relevant, user-focused content.
* Contribute to social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns as necessary. In addition, there may be a need to contribute to blogs and managing e communications as well as assisting with paid media including liaising with digital advertising agencies


Profile

You would have previous experience of managing and writing content for a number of websites. You will also have a strong understanding of GoogleAnalytics.

* You must have worked as a digital, web, social media, content officer previously
* Previous experience as a Digital Content Officer either client side or agency
* Proven track record producing quality content for a range of clients

* Strong editorial / copy writing skills are essential

* Previous experience with CMS systems

* Ability to analyse content performance and key metrics

* Strong attention to detail and outstanding written and verbal communication skills

* Previous experience managing internal, external and third-party stakeholders

* Strong understanding of Google Analytic
