Interim Head of Customer Marketing - Telecoms - Basingstoke - £350-£500 per day

Your new company
Global Telecoms Leader looking for an Interim Head of Customer Marketing based in their Basingstoke Officer. Market leader with a great working environment and a lovely team of 15-20 to manage.

Your new role will involve:


* To establish a "return on marketing investment" focused way of working within own team and throughout the sales funnel.
* Set the requirements for and deliver (in partnership with T&I and Transformation and Digital) data and lead management tools, in order to drive base marketing automation and campaign performance.
* Creating and delivering end-to-end relationship marketing activities that meet customer requirements whilst supporting the business's annual revenue, churn, retention and targets
* Delivering actionable insight, founded on customer insight and base data, that leads to better customer interactions at all stages of the life cycle journey
* Creating a 'push-pull' relationship with customer facing colleagues, providing them with the support they need to meet their numbers and proactively challenging them to demonstrate the right behaviours during customer interactions to yield the expected outcomes
* Creating the content, communications and enable strategies to help account management teams meet their numbers and objectives

* Act as the voice of the customer and advocate their needs, wants and articulate the challenges that they're addressing in the face of new market forces and trends. Delivering this insight to key stakeholders and translating it into the CRM marketing plan.
* Executing flawless, targeted customer campaigns and product or vertical propositions (cross-sell, up-sell, retention and loyalty driving) based on insight and in line with business objectives


What you'll need to succeed


* Laser focus on results and meeting business objectives
* Confident presenter/public speaker, both with internal and external audiences
* Data manipulation, analysis and presentation
* Able to provide clear guidance and leadership in a matrix structure
* Ability to lead and oversee multiple strategic objectives while maintaining tactical outputs
* Ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders, peers and team members
* Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills
* Story telling skills (able to take complex ideas and communicate them in a manner that is understood by the audience)
* Strategic planning; commercial acumen, business case analysis and budget planning
* Proven success in building and leading teams
* Experience of similar role(s) within a complex B2B environment - IT, telecoms or service provision
* Wide range of marketing/campaign knowledge, including marketing strategy, acquisition, customer marketing or customer experience
* Degree level education and/or CIM diploma
* Proven success working within a complex matrix of sales and other functional stakeholders

* Demonstrable experience of delivering successful customer relationship marketing strategy and execution, including delivery of insight and campaigns across virtual teams and multiple channels in either an agency or client side scenario
