An excellent opportunity for a Global Marketing Manager to join a market leading manufacturing specialist on a 12 month fixed-term contract

Client Details

My client is a market leading manufacturer based near Woking


The Global Marketing Manager will have the following responsibilities;

* Assist in the development and execution of the strategic marketing plan for the development of the brand and implementation throughout UK, Europe, US and the rest of the world.

* To manage and direct merchant marketing activity in terms of marketing support, promotional activity, in -store POS and installer events.

* Co-ordinate the design and production of marketing communications materials. This will include all forms of marketing communications from collateral, packaging, advertising, POS and e-marketing, from concept stages to print / end use.

* Liaise with Supply Chain, Regulatory and Product Management regarding packaging revisions, legislative changes, updates and amends. To manage the C Pro Change process systems across the business.

* Liaise and manage external agencies and suppliers to ensure project briefs are met and delivered to the agreed job specification within budget.

* Manage the external PR agency; to help maximise editorial and press coverage in the UK, and Ireland. Ensure product driven stories, case studies, testimonials and feature articles are tailored to marketing message and position the brand as leader. Extend PR coverage to Europe, US and ROW through local offices and contacts.

* To deputise for the Marketing Director as required and support , when necessary other members of the Marketing team on a project basis.

* Support the sales team on trade marketing, channel support and sales promotions tailored to individual geographical markets.

* Key contact for major merchant, independent and buying groups marketing personnel for price guides, promotions, merchant collateral and digital support on-line.

* Assist in project managing key projects such as new product launches, industry events and exhibitions from planning stage to delivery and measurement.

* Ensure information submitted for the website in all languages is accurate and up-to- date and support the Special Projects Manager in delivering key digital projects


The Successful Global Marketing Manager should have the following skillset;

* Strong communication skills - both written and verbal. Confident to present and promote the business to customers.

* Experienced in product and brand marketing.

* To be of degree educated calibre, ideally with a CIM marketing qualification

* A high standard of numeracy and analytical skills

* Knowledge of digital processes and content management systems an advantage

* To be able to demonstrate attention to detail and work in a methodical fashion

* Committed to ongoing personal development of marketing, technical , business and managerial skills

* Project management experience is desirable

* Good working knowledge of MS Office, Cpro, CRM, Lotus Notes and JDE would be preferred.
