The Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of multi-channel campaigns to ensure the ongoing promotion of the organisation's events and development programmes.

Description

* Development and delivery of multi-channel campaigns for the organisation's events, conferences and development programmes to drive registrations and revenue
* Write engaging and persuasive copy for senior management audiences
* Producing and executing segmented email campaigns and direct mail, including a monthly e-newsletter
* Creation of marketing collateral and conference branding
* Managing the organisation's websites and event web pages, including editing blogs and news content, and liaising with a web developer to manage functionality
* Campaign reporting to ensure continual improvements on processes (SEO, Analytics, etc)
* Managing social media accounts to increase engagement and build the organisation's profile
* Managing the design and production of reports/publications to ensure expectations are met, including undertaking basic design work and managing external designers, developers and agencies
* Working with the press office to support in building external relationships and issuing press releases
* Raising the profile of the organisation among its networks by planning and executing a mix of channels including website, network marketing, social media, email communications and growing the database of contacts


Profile

Essential



* Sound experience of developing and delivering multi-channel B2B marketing campaigns
* Understanding of CRM and CMS systems and willingness to develop these skills
* Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to write copy for senior-level B2B audiences
* Experience of managing event marketing budgets and achieving maximum ROI
* Demonstrable experience managing external stakeholders and agencies
* Have excellent organisational and time management skills with an ability to prioritise
* Be able to manage multiple objectives and projects at the same time to meet tight deadlines
* Self-motivated with an ability to use initiative
* Excellent and consistent attention to detail
* A flexible team-player with a can do attitude
* Strong analytical and IT skills





Desirable

* Previous policy/education/membership body experience within a B2B environment
* Experience of dealing with the press and media
* Ability to design collateral using software such as Photo Shop or InDesign


Job Offer

This organisation is looking to offer a salary of between £30,000 and £32,000 depending on experience.
