Your new company is an international B2B company that operate within the retail sector, located in the heart of Manchester. Newly established in the UK this is an innovative and collaborative organisation who have a start-up mentality with years of industry knowledge and experience. Due to expansion within the team they are looking to recruit for a Digital Product Owner, on a 3 month basis with possible opportunity for permanent.

Your new role
As the Digital Product Owner you will be tasked with building and maintaining a commercially focused roadmap of online capabilities prioritised through deep and robust commercial analysis and understanding the wider business priorities for online development. You will articulate detailed functional requirements as online capabilities move from the roadmap into the technical delivery plan.
The main responsibilities of the role will include identifying and prioritising a roadmap of online capabilities that drive online sales and customer engagement. You will build business cases for future initiatives, ensuring that the financial value of each initiative is aligned with the Head of Digital. You will work closely with the software engineering teams to maintain a thorough understanding of 'the art of possible' and bridge that knowledge into the e-Commerce functional roadmap.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have previous experience of product ownership, ideally within a large, multi-national online business. You will have an understanding of a broad e-Commerce skill-set, which will include SEO, functional design, user experience, creative design, content management, online marketing (PPC, email, affiliate). You will report directly in to the Head of Digital and will have an ambitious and forward-thinking mind set.
