This is an exciting business critical strategic role for the organisaiton and has the following remit:

Input into the marketing strategy and agreeing the yearly action plan accordingly.
All aspects of daily management for the Group Marketing Department.
Ensuring that the marketing objectives are implemented by the Marketing Team and guiding the day to day activities of the team.
Overseeing implementation of the marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.
Making sure that brand guidelines are adhered to in all marketing activities across the group.
Managing the group central marketing budget.
Managing relationships with 3rd party suppliers (branding, PR).
Ensuring staffing levels are maintained in order to complete all aspects of the company's marketing strategy.
Carrying out competitor analysis to ensure the company's marketing strategy is competing effectively.
Reporting on all marketing activities to the Chief Commerical Officer.
Working closely with the Leadership Team on group projects.
Working closely with the company's Business Development Team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations.
Work closely with Product Management Team to define marketing materials and programs.
Attending regular internal leadership meetings and events.

Qualifications/Role Requirements:
Degree qualified and member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles.
Confident, driven and dynamic individual.
Strong understanding of effective marketing communications.
An ability to lead and inspire marketing teams.
A background in science would be desired.
Impeccable communication skills (spoken and written).
