Head to Amsterdam for this exciting new role with this global FMCG powerhouse in a key global hub in Amsterdam.  Our client is looking for ambitious, results-driven data analysts/scientists who can use their exceptional analytical thinking skills to unleash the power of consumer/shopper insight and digital marketing data, taking on this senior role in the Consumer Insights & Analytics function.

In this high-profile global team, you will run large-scale consulting and analytics projects using best-in-class tools to identify and generate actionable insights for major FMCG brands and markets.  Slicing and dicing consumer panel data, spotting key correlations and making clear business recommendations are all part of the role.  This is a role for someone with the ability to navigate their way across the business, talking with senior managers and proposing creative approaches to tackling business issues and challenges.

Key Skills Checklist

  • Robust experience gained in a client-side, data agency or consulting environment with a deep understanding of consumer panel data (Nielsen, Kantar, GfK etc)
  • Proven ability to cut through data using dashboards/reports to illustrate insights and guide the business
  • Strong presentation and reporting writing skills, able to communicate the value of insights to the business
  • Specific expertise in statistical modelling and machine learning techniques such as Linear/Logistic regression, k-means/KNN, decision tree analysis would be valuable
  • A good understanding of digital marketing data analysis such as campaigns (Google, Facebook, YouTube), SEO optimizers, etc.
