Media and Communictions Advisor

A well known Faith based Charity are looking for a Media and Communications advisor to support in the busy press team. The contract is for 3 months with look for extension.

Description

The Media and Communications Advisor will have to:

-Ensure Communications and Media plans are coordinated and delivered for key projects.

- Ensure that agreed messages are creatively and proactively targeted

- Ensure stories and policy positions are translated for external consumption.

- Compelling stories, multimedia materials and information and content from programmes that demonstrate the need and impacts of the charities work.

- Build and maintain relationships with the target audience and press journalists

- Work closely with digital teams

- Work closely with team members to monitor media coverage


Profile

-Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

- High levels of interpersonal and influencing skills

- Excellent time and management skills

- An excellent knowledge of the national and regional media channels

-Good copywriter

-Qualification in PR, Marketing, Communications
